Experience the Therapy of Pottery Class
Most classes at Joo Chiat Place studio. Only Dragon Kiln workshops are at Jln Bahar (Jurong West) Studio.
Pottery Wheel Throwing (Trial Class)
Wheel throwing uses the electric pottery wheel. Your foot presses on the automated pedal to control the speed of the spinning wheel. Wheel throwing requires coordination of foot and hands.
You can get your first taste of ceramics here with the guidance of our experienced teachers. This is a one-off session, for you to experience the challenging electric wheel at our Joo Chiat Place studio.
Pottery Handbuilding (Trial Class)
Handbuilding uses the manual spinning wheel, we call 'the banding wheel'.
Want to find out if you enjoy the process of moulding clay with your bare hands?
Our experienced teachers will guide you to make creative clay artworks. You will use one hand to spin the wheel, and then shape and mould your piece. This is a one-off session, for you to be relaxed and creative on the manual spinning wheel at our Joo Chiat Place studio.
Our regular classes are held daily and cater to different students at different skill levels. From curious beginners wanting to learn the foundation of ceramics or seasoned potters looking to further develop their craft, we provide various regular classes to anyone interested to hone their skills here in Singapore.Book Your Class

Enjoy some calmness with clay. Maybe you are feeling blue and out-of-sorts? Maybe you have tried our experiential trial class and it was too fast-paced? This pottery module is 4 sessions, conducted weekly on a fixed schedule each month, using pottery to reinforce psychology principles and point out reflective moments for students to better understand themselves for mental wellness.
