Pottery Workshops - June Holidays 2019

Join us for our June Holidays 2019 Pottery programme! Handbuilding for All Ages. (Suitable for children). Each lesson is 2.5 hours.

Lesson Plan:
Lesson 1) Handbuilding with manual spinning wheel - Forest cutout holder
Lesson 2) Handbuilding with manual spinning wheel - Mug with fish/mermaid tail handle
Lesson 3) Handbuilding (slab rolling) - Tree house holder
Lesson 4) Glazing class

The date that you select for this booking will be your first session. We will schedule Lessons 2-4 with you again after your first session.

Available Class times:

Wed 10am-12.30 pm 1-3.30pm

Fri 10am-12.30 pm 1-3.30pm

Sat 10am-12.30 pm 1-3.30pm

Sun 10am-12.30 pm 1-3.30pm

Each piece made requires 1 firing, followed by glazing class (4 weeks after), then a 2nd round of firing. Your handmade items will be shiny, food-safe and usable as dinnerware, and will be available for collection after 8 weeks.

Workshop includes the materials, curriculum and instructions, firing of your artworks to completion.
