Mindful pottery is a special pottery course dedicated to people who are experiencing stress, anxiety or any negative emotions in their daily life and looking for an avenue to release their emotions.
Center Pottery works with 2 prominent psychologists to combine the science of modern psychology with clay art to create a robust therapeutic curriculum for the general public and mental health patients.
Our structured curriculum consists of 4 unique lessons. Whether you are someone who is looking to improve your mental wellness, relax and learn pottery, or a patient who have seeked professional help, our goal is to share the pottery experience with you so that you may improve your mental health, well-being and resilience, and find joy and inner peace.
Mindful pottery is split into 4 different lessons:
Lesson 1) Competence
Lesson 2) Concentration
Lesson 3) Confidence
Lesson 4) Cohesion
Throughout the course, we would be focusing more on the process rather than the end product. Students will better understand themselves and manage their negative emotions better, while finding a like-minded community within the class.
Our pottery studio is located in The Yards, where there is a large green field right outside our studio, allowing our students to enjoy lush greenery while doing pottery.
Please note that the date that you select for this booking will be your first session. Lessons 2-4 will happen weekly after your first session.
